Where are you going? Do you have your map ready?

Do you know where you are going? And I don’t mean literately to a physical location. What I mean is if you have a plan that is going to get you from where you are currently, to where you would like to be. What are your ambitions, what goals you would like to accomplish in your near future? Have you started or even thought about mapping your path?
We often tell ourselves that we can do so much better and many of us are always thriving for a better life, emotionally, financially, and physically as well as better health. The cold reality is that most people have tremendous potential and ambitions, but what they don’t have is a vehicle that will put them in the right path.
I don’t know about you, but for me, planning has always been something that I have been weak on. Objectively, this is where I see most people goes wrong and fails. Lack of planning is what we need to overcome. Here is where we must focus and start mapping our path from where we currently are to the destination that we would like to reach.
I am pretty sure you have heard when people say that they have photographic memory and that they don’t need to write nothing down. Wrong! An important point that I have learned and that works, is writing things down, and the more specific we get the better results we will get.
Let’s prepare even for the unexpected, let’s start putting our map together to where we would like to go in life. It is not too late to start, maybe you were not on the right path, but you can change direction and get there.
If you had a treasure map and you knew that by following it step by step and figuring out all the clues at the end you will find a big treasure, wouldn’t you do it? Off course, everybody would. So, why don’t we act as if it was a real treasure and start mapping our life for success?
