Jail Break!

You are probably thinking an escape from Alcatraz or any other famous jail, but actually I’m talking about a term that is commonly used by teenagers to break into their smart phones and go around to deactivate the system created by the provider. This way the individual or whoever is able to break into their phones will gain complete freedom to add or remove any “APP” (Application).

If we are able to jail break the important things in our lives, and make breakthroughs on our deepest believes, our fears, and habits that keep us locked up in our own jail, we will be in better shape in reaching any goals we might set for ourselves.

This is a great metaphor to apply to our own life. Let’s jail break into our lives! Yes, just like you heard it. As funny as it might sound, I believe it works. We are often surrounded by our limitations from the environment we live in, our society, culture, and the most fatal of all, our limiting believes.

Here is a good way to put into practice how to redesign our everyday lives. It works as if we add new “Apps” (Applications) or delete the ones we don’t want or need anymore. We must keep moving, getting comfortable is not good for us, even though getting comfortable brings us a good feeling. Sometimes these feelings are not good for us. Getting too comfortable can also be a challenge, especially when we have to move away from our comfort zone.

I believe we can program our minds to be able to change our lives. One of the hardest things to do is being able to change an existing old habit for a new one. This is something we all need. It will take will power, and everyday practice.

It might be hard to delete or remove old or bad habits, but what we can do for sure is to substitute the bad habits for good ones. This way is much easier to make the transition.
Nobody is perfect, we all have fears and limiting believes about something we want or something we want to become. It’s no secret that we all want to do better in all aspects of our lives. We can see the smart phones “apps” as a metaphor to become better people, by programing ...
